Policy Statement

At PacMarine, we are dedicated to delivering premier marine consultancy and surveying services while safeguarding the environment and protecting the health, safety, and wellbeing of our workforce and all personnel under our care. 

Our leadership team actively integrates ISO 9001:2015 (Quality), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental), and ISO 45001:2018 (Health & Safety) standards into our core operations and strategic choices, ensuring a unified, efficient, and proactive approach to business management.

• We are committed to protecting the environment, including preventing pollution and preserving natural resources and reducing our carbon footprint.
• We will fulfil our compliance obligations and strive to exceed them where possible.
• We will assess our environmental impacts, setting objectives to reduce our environmental impact, including that of climate change, with a focus on waste minimization, resource efficiency and sustainable practices.

3- Health & Safety Leadership:

• We provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment, aiming for zero harm.
• We are committed to the elimination of hazards and reduction of occupational health and safety risks through a proactive risk management process.
• We will consult with and involve our workers in health and safety matters, ensuring their participation is key to our success.
• We will comply with all applicable legal and other requirements related to occupational health and safety.

4- Leadership & Worker Involvement:

• Top Management demonstrates leadership and commitment by ensuring the IMS is integrated into business operations and that resources are available.
• We promote a culture of shared responsibility where all persons working under our control are empowered to report hazards, suggest improvements, and contribute to the effectiveness of the IMS.

5- Risk-Based Thinking & Continual Improvement:

• We will identify, assess, and address risks and opportunities related to our processes, environmental aspects, and OH&S hazards to enhance desired outcomes and prevent undesirable effects.
• We are committed to the continual improvement of the suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness of our Integrated Management System and our overall performance.

6- Communication & Consultation:

• This policy is documented, implemented, maintained, and communicated across all PacMarine Services staff and contractors. 
• It is made available to the public and interested stakeholders upon request.

Review

This Policy shall be reviewed at least annually to ensure that it remains appropriate, effective and aligned with the Company’s objectives, applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and relevant industry standards.

The Policy shall also be reviewed, and revised where necessary, following any significant change in applicable laws or regulations, industry standards, Company business activities, operations, organisational structure, or other circumstances that may affect its applicability or effectiveness.
