Integrity, Transparency, and Professional Conduct
Policy Statement
PacMarine Services is committed to conducting its business with the highest standards of integrity, honesty, fairness, professionalism and accountability. We believe that ethical conduct is fundamental to maintaining the trust of our employees, clients, business partners, regulators and other stakeholders.
The Policy applies to all business activities and interactions conducted by or on behalf of PacMarine Services, including dealings with customers, clients, suppliers, contractors, business partners, government authorities, regulators, classification societies, industry organizations, and other third parties.
Scope
The Ethics Policy applies to all employees, officers, directors, consultants, contractors, and other persons acting on behalf of PacMarine Services, regardless of their position, location, or employment status.
The Policy applies to all business activities and interactions conducted by or on behalf of PacMarine Services, including dealings with customers, clients, suppliers, contractors, business partners, government authorities, regulators, classification societies, industry organizations, and other third parties.
Guiding Ethical Principles
All personnel are guided by the following principles:
- Strict observation of all local and International laws.
- Choose the course of highest integrity.
- Full and accurate records and reporting.
- PacMarine will not support unscrupulous behaviour.
- Open and honest communications with customers and management.
- Honest bookkeeping, proposals and evaluations.
- PacMarine does not encourage the practice of giving or receiving gifts even of nominal value.
- All information received from Customer shall be kept confidential and customer’s proprietary rights shall be protected.
- PacMarine will provide full cooperation to any Government body or customer investigating unscrupulous behaviour.
- PacMarine carefully assesses the services with the objective that neither PacMarine nor its customers are exposed to reputational risk.
Review
This Policy shall be reviewed at least annually to ensure that it remains appropriate, effective and aligned with the Company's objectives, applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and relevant industry standards.
The Policy shall also be reviewed, and revised where necessary, following any significant change in applicable laws or regulations, industry standards, Company business activities, operations, organisational structure, or other circumstances that may affect its applicability or effectiveness.
